Sony Launches New Entry-Level Wireless Headphone WF-C510 with Enhanced Features

TapTechNews August 27th news, Sony has launched a brand-new entry-level wireless headphone WF-C510, priced at $59.99 (TapTechNews note: currently about 427 Chinese yuan), which is the latest product in its 'TrulyWireless' series. Compared to the previous-generation product, it has added a voice isolation function, and the battery life has also been improved, and the price has also been reduced by $30. The headphone comes in four colors: black, blue, white, and yellow, and is currently available for pre-order on Sony's overseas official website and Amazon.

In addition to voice isolation, the WF-C510 is also equipped with an ambient sound mode (Sony's transparency mode). Sony also said that this is the'smallest closed-type headphone' the company has ever produced. In the case of turning off the ambient sound mode, the WF-C510 can provide up to 5 hours of 'continuous talk time' or a maximum of 11 hours of regular use time. The charging case can provide an additional 11 hours of battery life.

Sony said that the WF-C510 can connect to a maximum of two Bluetooth devices simultaneously and supports Google's FastPair and Microsoft's SwiftPair functions to achieve rapid device connection. In addition, the headphone also has an IPX4 waterproof rating, which can withstand water splashes or sweat, but cannot be immersed in water.

The WF-C510 is expected to start shipping on September 9th.
