According to the introduction, heavy oil crude has large viscosity, and it is difficult to be extracted by conventional cold production with a small oil production rate and a low recovery rate. In this regard, the industry generally solves the problem through thermal recovery technology that artificially heats to increase the fluidity of crude oil.
Public information shows that Nanpu 35-2 Oilfield is located in the Bohai Sea area and adopts large-scale steam huff and puff development. After the formation swallows high-temperature and high-pressure steam, the heavy oil is spat out from the oil production well.
