TapTechNews noticed from the video that during the test drive of the Denza vehicle by the customer, the salesperson sitting in the passenger seat helped press the button on the steering wheel, and then said that the customer's hands didn't need to hold the steering wheel nor step on the brake. Eventually, when there was a vehicle in front, the vehicle did not automatically stop, resulting in the test drive vehicle rear-ending the vehicle in front.

According to Oriental Finance and Economics report, in this regard, the official customer service of Denza said: The automatic emergency braking function is only an auxiliary tool, and the driver should maintain an appropriate distance from the vehicle in front, control the speed, and be ready to brake or steer when necessary.

Regarding the situation in the video where the salesperson allowed the customer to not have to hold the steering wheel nor step on the brake with their hands, the customer service said they don't know about this for now and relevant issues have been registered.
