GAC Group and Volcano Engine Signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement

Feng Xingya, general manager of GAC Group, and Tan Dai, president of Volcano Engine, witnessed the signing. Jiang Xiuwen, deputy general manager of GAC Group, and Yang Liwei, general manager of the automotive industry of Volcano Engine, represented both parties to sign the agreement.
According to the agreement, the two parties will, based on their industrial advantages in their respective fields, carry out in-depth cooperation in areas such as cloud services, marketing digitization, intelligent cockpits, and overseas collaboration.
The Volcano Engine team stated that based on the expansion strategy of GAC Group in the overseas market, it will provide all-round support such as overseas marketing activities and digital platform construction for GAC Group, including multilingual translation, multi-time zone management, and cross-border data compliance and other solutions to help GAC Group better adapt to the market environment in different countries and regions and ensure the safe, compliant, efficient and stable operation of overseas businesses. The two parties conducted in-depth and detailed discussions on the specific contents and directions of the cooperation.

In June this year, Volcano Engine provided a combined automotive industry solution of Volcano In-Car Entertainment + In-Car Shooting Function Yingji for the GAC Trumpchi GS4 PLUS model.
Volcano In-Car Entertainment is an in-vehicle infotainment content service launched by Volcano Engine for the in-vehicle scenario. Through the account connection between the mobile phone and the in-vehicle unit, under the premise of ensuring driving safety, with only simple interactive operations by the car owner, Volcano In-Car Entertainment can provide content services such as Douyin, Toutiao, and Xigua Video for the car usage scenario.
