TapTechNews June 10th news, the sub-brand CMF under Nothing will release its first-ever smartphone CMFPhone(1) in the near future. Previously, there were rumors that CMFPhone(1) might just be a re-skinned version of Phone(2a), featuring the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor. The leak comes from the user GadgetBits on the overseas social platform X (formerly Twitter). TapTechNews needs to point out that this user doesn't have much of a leak history, and the source of their information can't be verified.

The leaked information shows that CMFPhone(1) will be equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor instead of the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 carried by Phone(2a). In terms of performance, the Dimensity 7300 is expected to be comparable to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ processor used by NothingPhone(1).

The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 is the iterative version of the MediaTek Dimensity 7050, adopting an octa-core CPU architecture that includes 4 Arm Cortex-A78 cores with a maximum frequency of up to 2.5 GHz and 4 Arm Cortex-A55 cores. This chip uses a 4nm process technology, and its energy efficiency performance will be improved by 25% compared to the Dimensity 7050. It's worth noting that the upcoming OPPOReno12Pro global version may also use the Dimensity 7300 processor.

In addition, the leaker also mentioned that CMFPhone(1) will be equipped with a 6.7-inch FHD+AMOLED display, support 120Hz refresh rate, and have equal widths on all four sides, different from the previously rumored 6.67-inch FHD+OLED display. In terms of battery life, the phone may come with a 5000mAh battery and support 33W fast charging. In contrast, the NothingPhone(1) has a fast charging power of 45W. In addition, CMFPhone(1) will also adopt under-screen fingerprint recognition.

The leak claims that the lowest configuration version of CMFPhone(1) will have at least 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and it will run a NothingOS custom system based on Android 14. However, the leak claims that the phone will not use the transparent GlyphInterface casing that is a signature feature of Nothing phones. Also, CMFPhone(1) may not support NFC function.

Another user on X, RahulJanardhanan, shared a concept design map of CMFPhone(1). As can be seen from the picture, the phone adopts an orange design and seems to confirm that it will not use GlyphInterface. The phone has a rear dual-camera and a flash on the back, and there is a dot pattern in the middle of the back panel. At the same time, the fuselage is also equipped with a mysterious knob that was officially previewed, but the purpose of the relevant knob is not yet known.
