Xiaomi 14 Gets System Update with 5G-A Capability
TapTechNews June 2nd news, the Xiaomi 14 phone has recently received a system update to version Pengpai OS 1.0.38, and the installation package size is 544MB. Previously, this version has been pushed to internal test users.

It is known that 5.5G, also known as 5G-Advanced (full name: 5G-Advanced), is a key stage in the evolution from 5G to 6G. Compared to 5G, 5.5G has a higher rate, larger connection, and lower latency. 5.5G still belongs to the 5G standard, but the speed is faster than 5G.
According to China Mobile, the peak rate of 5.5G can reach up to ten times that of 5G, with the potential of a downlink speed of up to 10 Gbps and an uplink speed of 1 Gbps. Currently, all three major operators are starting to layout 5.5G, and China Mobile strives to achieve full commercial use of 5.5G by the end of 2026.
