Netflix's 'Tomb Raider The Legend of Lara Croft' Gets Release Date

TapTechNews June 2nd, the release date of the Netflix animated series 'Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft' was announced today. The series will debut on the Netflix platform on October 10th. The official also released a brand new trailer, allowing the audience to have a deeper understanding of the content of the series.

This work will follow the plot of the rebooted 'Tomb Raider' game trilogy ('Tomb Raider', 'Rise of the Tomb Raider' and 'Shadow of the Tomb Raider') and tell the story of Lara Croft being forced to 'face her true self and decide what kind of hero she wants to be' in the process of pursuing a 'dangerous and powerful' stolen artifact.

'Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft' was first announced in 2021 and jointly produced by LegendaryTelevision and the 'Castlevania' animated studio PowerhouseAnimation. The writer and executive producer of this series is Tasha Huo, who has participated in the production of 'The Witcher: Blood Origin', and Lara Croft is voiced by Hayley Atwell.
