Geely's Xinqing Technology Launches Industrial-level 'Longying No. 1' 7nm AIoT Processor

TapTechNews July 15th news, Geely's Xinqing Technology launched the industrial-level Longying No. 1 7nm AIoT application processor SE1000-I, aiming at domestic high-end industrial edge computing and robot applications.

The eight-core CPU adopts a hard isolation architecture, and there is no need to run the Android and Linux dual systems in virtualization.

Supports LPDDR4X/5 and UFS3.1 storage.

Integrates a 14-core GPU with a peak computing power of up to 900 GFLOPS.

Provides 8 TOPS dual neural network accelerators and supports the deployment of mainstream AI framework models.

4K codec, supports up to 16-channel MIPI camera access and 7-screen heterogeneous display capabilities.

Built-in Cortex-R52 lock-step core as the core of the functional safety island, providing a complete information security link protection.

Equipped with USB3.2 Gen2, PCIe3.0 and dual Gigabit Ethernet interfaces.

186 GPIOs support low-speed peripheral multiplexing.

At present, the industrial-level Longying No. 1 chip has been officially mass-produced, and is being tested and evaluated among industry customers such as intelligent edge computing gateways, self-mobile robots, unmanned delivery vehicles, intelligent commercial vehicles and rail transit.

At the same time, Xinqing will jointly launch different forms of evaluation boards, core boards, industry single boards, hosts and robot reference design kits with industrial partners Ruisha, Abei, Tactile Intelligence, Kepler, Ajiaxi, etc.

According to TapTechNews' previous report, Geely's Xinqing Technology's first self-developed 7-nanometer process automotive-grade SOC chip Longying No. 1 was released in December 2021, and the shipment volume has exceeded 200,000 pieces as of December 2023.

Geely released the Intelligent Geely 2025 strategy in 2021. Geely said that intelligence will be the core technical ability that Geely integrates group resources to build in the next five years. Geely believes that the key core lies in chips, software operating systems and technical data, and chips are the cornerstone and driving force to support the intelligent technology ecological network.
