Gaode Map Launches Real-time Waterlogged Map for the First Time in the Industry

For this reason, Gaode Map, based on the large model algorithm, upgraded the waterlogged map and launched the real-time waterlogged map.
It is introduced that the real-time waterlogged map can realize the minute-level online of road waterlogged points, providing real-time reminders for users' travel, and this is also the first time in the entire industry to launch a real-time waterlogged map.
Gaode Map will mark the icon of the waterlogged point in real time. Users can view it by zooming in and out of the map on the home page and can enter the live chat room by clicking the icon.
For self-driving users, they can receive advance reminders of waterlogged sections during route planning and navigation; for cycling and walking users, Gaode Map will remind of waterlogged sections and help users avoid sections closed due to waterlogging.
TapTechNews noticed that Gaode Map has previously launched the lane-level safety early warning rainy day warning vehicle, as well as early warning functions such as there is a vehicle braking suddenly ahead and there is an incoming vehicle at an unlit intersection.
The Central Meteorological Observatory continued to issue an orange rainstorm warning at 18:00 on July 17th, and it is expected that from 20:00 on July 17th to 20:00 on July 18th, some areas in the Sichuan Basin, southern Shaanxi, central and southern Henan, southern Shandong, northern Anhui, northern Jiangsu and other places will have heavy to rainstorms, among which some areas in central and southern Henan, northern Anhui, northern Jiangsu, and the northwestern part of the Sichuan Basin will have heavy rainstorms, and local extremely heavy rainstorms (250-270 millimeters); the above areas are accompanied by short-term heavy precipitation (the maximum hourly rainfall is 30-60 millimeters, and locally can exceed 70 millimeters), and there are strong convective weathers such as local thunderstorm gales.
