Zhengzhou to Accelerate Low-Altitude Economic Development with New Plan

The 'Plan' has established the '1 + 4' development goals of Zhengzhou's low-altitude economy in the next three years, which TapTechNews summarizes as follows:

One overall goal: Apply for the establishment of a national low-altitude economic development demonstration area.

Four sub-goals: The industrial scale continues to expand, the innovation ability is significantly enhanced, the low-altitude scenarios are rich and diverse, and the infrastructure is basically improved.

The 'Plan' proposes that by 2026, the industrial scale of the low-altitude economy will continue to expand. Zhengzhou will introduce and cultivate more than 5 unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) complete machine enterprises, and more than 20 core enterprises in the industrial chain, and strongly attract a number of high-quality low-altitude aircraft operating enterprises. The number of low-altitude economic-related enterprises will exceed 200, and the industrial scale of the low-altitude economy exceeds 20 billion yuan.

The 'Plan' proposes to initially build a low-altitude ground infrastructure network, build 3 general airports, layout more than 50 takeoff and landing fields and points, build a low-altitude flight digital dispatching, supervision and service platform, and realize data connection with the national comprehensive management platform for civil unmanned aircraft; it will promote the integration of low-altitude flight with consumption activities such as tourism, sports, photography, entertainment, and performance, cultivate new products and services for low-altitude consumption, and form new growth points for consumption.

The 'new growth points for consumption' mainly include enriching 'low-altitude +' cultural and tourism consumption, encouraging 'low-altitude +' sports consumption, and creating a 'low-altitude +' exhibition platform. Support the opening of key medical supplies immediate delivery routes to boost the development of aviation medical rescue. Relying on the existing general airports, carry out 'general aviation +' application scenarios, etc.
