TapTechNews July 31, Cadillac launched the facelifted CT5-VBlackwing high-performance sedan earlier this year, and today the company announced that it will launch a brand new 'Precision Package' for this car, aiming to further enhance the dynamic performance of the vehicle on the road and the racetrack.

As the core of this upgrade, the Precision Package includes a thicker front anti-roll bar, stiffer springs and improved suspension bushings. In addition, the newly designed front knuckle and rear suspension trailing arm can achieve more aggressive track tuning. To further improve vehicle performance, the kit is also equipped with a carbon ceramic brake system, and special tuning has been made to the electromagnetic shock absorber, steering system and electronic limited-slip differential.

Cadillac says these improvements will significantly enhance the vehicle's steering accuracy, corner exit stability and driving pleasure, while emphasizing that it will not affect the brand's consistent luxury and comfort.

In terms of power, the CT5-VBlackwing with the Precision Package still carries a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine with a maximum output power of 677 horsepower and a peak torque of 892 pound-feet. The transmission system is mated to a 6-speed manual or 10-speed automatic transmission and is rear-wheel drive.

The CT5-VBlackwing with the Precision Package will be launched early next year, and the specific price will be announced closer to the launch. It is worth noting that the 2025 CT5-VBlackwing will begin to arrive in dealerships this summer, and the new car has a completely new exterior design and interior, including a 33-inch curved display screen.
