The next-generation Audi A5 built on the PPC platform will become the first model equipped with Huawei's intelligent driving solution. According to Audi's new naming rule, the A5 will replace the currently sold A4. TapTechNews learned that currently, Audi A4, A6, and Q5 are one of the three main pillars of Audi's sales in China.

During this year's Guangzhou Auto Show, the next-generation Audi A5 will complete its debut and is expected to be launched during the 2025 Shanghai Auto Show.

As Audi's next-generation fuel vehicle platform, the electrical and electronic architecture of the PPC platform is the new E³1.2 electrical and electronic architecture jointly developed by Audi and CARIAD, and this architecture will be composed of 5 high-performance computing platforms (High-Performance Computing Platform, abbreviated as HCP) as the operation core.

It is reported that Huawei's intelligent driving solution will be deeply integrated with HCP2 responsible for the driving assistance system, and the ECU cooperating with the engine is all from Huawei.
