BYD Auto's Thai Factory Completion & 800th New Energy Vehicle Rollout Ceremony Multiple Brands Show Support

TapTechNews on July 3rd, BYD Auto will hold the completion ceremony of BYD's Thai factory and the rollout ceremony of the 800th new energy vehicle on July 4th at 11:30 am. The official released a warm-up video today with the slogan "The harder it is to go global, the braver the Chinese brand is."

Shortly after the video was just released, Xiaomi Automobile reposted the promotional Weibo and said, "This year is the 10th year of Xiaomi going global. I am willing to join hands with Chinese brands and ride the waves to make 'Made in China' the pride of the world. Congratulations in advance on the successful completion of BYD's Thai factory and the rollout of the 800th new energy vehicle!"

Xiaomi and BYD have had a close cooperation before. BYD Electronics is an important supplier of Xiaomi mobile phones, and now the two sides finally meet in the automotive track. Lei Jun, the founder of Xiaomi, also said at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show that for more than a dozen years, BYD has been a very important partner of Xiaomi mobile phones, and now it is also for Xiaomi Automobile.
