Yangtze River Delta Railway High Passenger Flow and Operational Updates

TapTechNews October 5th news, TapTechNews learned from China Railway Shanghai Group Co., Ltd. that the Yangtze River Delta railway is expected to send 3.63 million passengers today, and the passenger flow continues to operate at a high level.

Starting from this afternoon, Shanghai, Nanjing, Xuzhou, Hangzhou, Ningbo, Yiwu, Hefei, Bengbu, Huangshan and other stations in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Anhui will welcome the first wave of return passenger flow. Today, the Yangtze River Delta railway department plans to add multiple through directions to Central China, South China, Central Plains, Northwest and other places, as well as passenger trains traveling between Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Anhui in the Yangtze River Delta jurisdiction a total of 207 trains, and 322 EMU trains will be reconnected and 198 vehicles will be attached.

On October 4th, the Yangtze River Delta railway actually sent 3.704 million passengers, an increase of 293,000 passengers year-on-year, an increase of 8.6%. As of October 4th, the passenger flow of the Yangtze River Delta railway has remained above 3.4 million passengers for 5 consecutive days, and a total of nearly 21.3 million passengers have been sent. During the National Day holiday, the passenger travel demand is strong, and the railway passenger flow continues to operate at a high level.

On September 29th, the national railway sent 12.998 million passengers.

On September 30th, the national railway sent 17.283 million passengers.

On October 1st, the national railway sent 21.448 million passengers, setting a new historical high for the single-day passenger delivery volume.

On October 2nd, the national railway sent 18.238 million passengers.

On October 3rd, the national railway sent 17.602 million passengers.
