Innovative vabsRider Bicycle Seat to Transform Cycling Experience

What makes vabsRider different from traditional seats is its unique double-wing design. The two sides of vabsRider can swing independently along with the rider's leg pedaling.

Australian engineer Robin Macan got this idea in 2016. In order to turn this idea into reality, Macan collaborated with industrial designer Philippe Guichard to perfect this concept and worked with the Whistle design team in Melbourne to jointly create a mass-producible product. Macan's start-up company ataraxy BSC is responsible for bringing vabsRider to the market.

ataraxy BSC stated on its official website that vabsRider's innovative split seat design can adapt to the independent movement of the legs, and its rotating axis simulates the hip joint, effectively relieving the pressure on the ischial region and transferring it to the femur, thereby achieving a more even distribution of force and reducing the pain.

The fixing screw on the vabsRider seat post can realize both front-back and height adjustment, and can also adjust the angle and width of the seat to meet the needs of different cyclists.

Currently, vabsRider has not been officially launched, but it has attracted the attention of many cyclists.

TapTechNews noticed that vabsRider is somewhat similar to another seat, AiroBikeSeat. The middle part of AiroBikeSeat is a fixed part, and the wing-shaped springs on both sides swing up and down as the rider's ischium moves left and right, which relieves the buttock pressure to a certain extent.
