Regarding why not build a 400-meter integral ship, TapTechNews found out that in order to reduce the voyage and freight, international large container ships generally choose to sail in canals during the shipping process. In order to prevent the situation of blocking the canals, the canal management department stipulates that the length of the ship should be less than 400 meters (ships over 400 meters can also pass, but it needs to go through a special approval process).
