Apple Announces Stopping Signing for iOS 17.5.1 System

TapTechNews August 6th news, Apple today announced a notice, declaring that it has stopped signing for the iOS 17.5.1 system, meaning that users who have already upgraded to a higher version can no longer downgrade by themselves later.

Apple typically prevents users from installing older versions of iOS to encourage customers to keep their operating system up to date and prevent downgrading to older, less secure iPhone operating system versions.

TapTechNews note: Apple initially released the iOS 17.5.1 official version update on May 21, and then re-released the iPadOS 17.5.1 update for iPad 10 users on June 4.

This update only fixed some important errors and solved the problem that in very few cases, database corruption could cause deleted photos to reappear in the Photos gallery.
