Maxsun Showcases Next-Generation Motherboard at 2024 Computex Taipei

TapTechNews June 12, according to a report by foreign media Wccftech, Maxsun showcased a Terminator motherboard for Intel's next-generation desktop platform at the 2024 Computex Taipei.

This motherboard is expected to belong to the Z890 series and features an overall silver and black color scheme and a standard ATX specification.

Based on the information obtained from various channels so far, TapTechNews has sorted out the specifications of this motherboard as follows:

Maxsun's Terminator motherboard comes with a 10+1+1-phase power supply, dual EPS8Pin CPU auxiliary power supply interfaces, and is equipped with 4 dual-channel DDR5 memory slots.

This motherboard provides one Gen5 x16 main PCIe slot, one physically full-length Gen4 x4 PCIe slot, and two Gen3 x1 slots without alloy reinforcement.

Maxsun provides this Terminator motherboard with one PCIe5.0 M.2 slot, three PCIe4.0 M.2 slots, and in addition, there is an SFF-8654 4i SlimSAS interface to facilitate users to connect enterprise-level U.2 solid-state drives.

Regarding networking, this motherboard is equipped with a single Realtek 2.5G wired network port and a Wi-Fi7 wireless network card.

In the rear IO aspect, this motherboard provides one USB4 interface, 4 5Gbps Type-A interfaces, 4 10Gbps Type-A interfaces, and also has DP1.2 and HDMI2.0 video output ports.
