XPeng Motors' MONA Series First Model XPeng M03 Revealed
TapTechNews June 12th news, XPeng Motors released today more official images of its first model in the MONA series, XPeng M03, revealing the rear design of this new car. XPeng M03 is expected to make its official debut in June and is planned to go on the market in the third quarter of this year.
TapTechNews noticed that in the newly released official pictures, the XPeng M03 adopts a pink car paint, which is more youthful and fashionable compared to the blue one previously announced. The details of the new car's rear end have also been revealed. Different from the currently popular through-type taillights, M03 chose a T-shaped taillight design that matches the front headlights. The shape around the taillights is also coordinated with the design of the front end, enhancing the overall recognition of the vehicle. In addition, a slightly upturned small rear spoiler is also designed at the rear end of the new car, adding to the dynamic feeling of the vehicle.
Looking back at the front and side designs of the vehicle, the XPeng M03 adopts a sleek fastback design and retains the XPeng Motors LOGO. The front end adopts the common closed-type grille design for new energy vehicles, and the front headlight group also adopts a T-shaped design, echoing the taillights. From the side view, the lines of the new car are full of a muscular sense, and it is also equipped with the currently popular hidden door handle.
In the XPeng Motors' first quarter earnings conference call in 2024 in May, CEO He Xiaopeng said that the first model of the MONA series is a product with the highest appearance, high intelligence, and fairly competitive cost within 200,000 Chinese Yuan ($28,571.43). It will become a super star product in the A-class pure electric market. In the next year or two, XPeng Motors will also launch several products on the A-class vehicle platform and bring XPeng's XNGP into this price range to popularize high-level intelligent assisted driving in this price range with the largest sales volume.
