App Description and Screenshots

TestFlight currently only shows the developer's description about the testing content. Apple plans to add relevant descriptions and screenshots to the beta version applications in the new version, which will help testers better understand the applications they will be testing. (1 mile = 1.60934 kilometers)

TesterCriteria

TestFlight will also introduce more new functions, such as the TesterCriteria for screening the audience of beta applications. (1 pound = 0.453592 kilograms)

With TesterCriteria, developers can distribute their beta applications to specific devices and iOS versions to test specific behaviors. Multiple criteria can be set, and they apply to both private invitations and public TestFlight links.

Release Date

There is currently no detailed information about exactly when the new version of TestFlight will be opened to the public. It is worth noting that iOS18 is currently in the testing stage and will be released this fall, so Apple may release the new TestFlight at the same time.
