TapTechNews on October 2, the tech media TechCrunch released a blog post on September 30, reporting that the AR smart glasses launched by Meta in cooperation with Ray-Ban Ray-Bans are equipped with cameras, and there may be a situation of collecting user information to train AI.

TapTechNews quoted the media report, the camera on the glasses will not only take pictures when the user requests, but also automatically take pictures when triggered under special keywords such as 'look'.

Including unintentionally captured images, it means that the smart glasses will collect a large number of photos, and the official has not promised to protect these image data.

The media asked Meta about this matter, and Anuj Kumar, senior director of MetaAI wearable devices, responded and said: We do not publicly discuss this.
