TapTechNews June 9th news, Xiaomi today launched the POCOM6 phone overseas. This phone is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G91-Ultra chip, 6/8GB RAM and 128GB storage space, starting at $129 (TapTechNews note: currently about 936 RMB).
It is introduced that the MediaTek Helio G91-Ultra chip carried by this phone was released in February this year. This chip is an upgraded version of the Helio G88 it launched three years ago, but it only supports 4G communication. The chip itself has an eight-core configuration, including two Arm Cortex-A75 cores with a maximum frequency of 2.0 GHz for handling intensive tasks, and six Cortex-A55 cores with a frequency of 1.8 GHz; the GPU is Mali-G52MC2.
In terms of design, this phone uses a glass back panel, with black, silver and purple options available. The whole machine has a thickness of 8.3 mm and weighs 205 grams. It is equipped with a side fingerprint sensor and runs on the Xiaomi澎湃 HyperOS system based on Android 14.
