Foxconn to Start Shipping Servers with Nvidia's GB200 Processor in Q4, Announces 2024 Q2 Results

TapTechNews August 14th news, Foxconn held a corporate briefing today. The spokesperson, Wu Junyi, pointed out that Foxconn will start shipping servers equipped with Nvidia's GB200 processor in the fourth quarter.

Foxconn expects that the overall operation for the whole year of this year will be better than that in 2023. Among them, consumer smart products and computer terminal products will be flat, but cloud network products, components and other products will grow significantly. Wu Junyi pointed out that the visibility of AI servers has significantly increased and the demand is strong, accounting for more than 40% of the overall server revenue, and it will become the next trillion New Taiwan dollars in revenue product of Foxconn Group.

In terms of the progress of the electric vehicle business, its Model C car (TapTechNews note: the mass-produced model is Luxgen n⁷) has delivered more than 1000 vehicles per month since April, and has delivered more than 5400 vehicles in the first 7 months of this year; the new business headquarters in Zhengzhou will layout fields such as the new energy vehicle trial production center and solid-state battery.

Foxconn Group announced the second-quarter results of 2024 today. The second-quarter revenue was 1.55 trillion New Taiwan dollars (TapTechNews note: currently about 342.666 billion yuan), an increase of 19% year-on-year, and the estimated was 1.52 trillion New Taiwan dollars; the second-quarter net profit was 35 billion New Taiwan dollars (currently about 7.738 billion yuan), and the estimated was 34.5 billion New Taiwan dollars, an increase of 6.1% year-on-year.

The revenue of Foxconn in the first half of 2024 was 2.87 trillion New Taiwan dollars (currently about 634.485 billion yuan), and the net profit in the first half of the year was 57.05 billion New Taiwan dollars (currently about 12.612 billion yuan).
