Microsoft announced today that it will open a technical Alpha test on a weekend in October to collect feedback on 'Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024'. This test is limited to the Windows PC (Windows Store) platform, and all interested players can sign up (provided that the configuration meets the requirements). EntitlementService - User services related to the simulator and player inventory
TokenService (Auth) - User authentication service
Career - Managing tasks and progress in career mode
ChallengeSeries - Challenge list
UserStorage - Content library used across platforms (avatars, careers, statistics, etc.)
World - For improving the world map
Multiplayer - Service that replicates aircraft and allows users to see each other
ClientDispatcher - The main service of the multiplayer server
WorldMap - Displays other aircraft on the world map
CognitiveCache - Stores TTS requests
LiveAirTraffic24H - Displays air traffic in game play
LiveMarineTraffic24H - Displays marine traffic in game play
WeatherWeb - Displays real-time weather data
ServerCoordinator - Monitors the number of users in multiplayer games and adds/removes game servers as needed
WeatherDownloader - Downloads weather files/METAR data
WeatherProcessor - Parses the downloaded weather files and processes them into a format usable by the simulator
