Capcom's Game Series Sales Update Resident Evil, Monster Hunter and More
TapTechNews August 3rd news, in addition to the financial report, Capcom also updated the best-selling list data of its major game series, among which the sales of the Resident Evil series exceeded 160 million copies, the Monster Hunter series 103 million copies, and the Street Fighter series 55 million copies.

In the previously announced financial report of Capcom, it was also mentioned that the global sales of Monster Hunter: World (including its Iceborne Master Edition) have reached 26.323 million copies, and the sales increased by nearly 1 million copies from April to June. At the same time, the sales of Monster Hunter: Rise is 15.459 million copies, and 725,000 copies were sold in the first quarter of the current fiscal year.
The sales of the expansion pack Iceborne of Monster Hunter: World have now exceeded 13.4 million copies (an increase of 819,000 copies), and the sales of the expansion pack Dawn of Monster Hunter: Rise is 842,000 copies (an increase of 672,000 copies). In terms of total sales, the global cumulative sales of the Monster Hunter series games have reached 103 million copies, an increase from 100 million copies at the end of the previous quarter.
The first quarter (April 1st to June 30th, 2024) financial report of Capcom's fiscal year 2025. In this quarter, the sales amount is 29.597 billion yen (TapTechNews note: currently about 1.441 billion yuan), a decrease of 32.5% year-on-year, and the operating profit is 12.889 billion yen (currently about 627 million yuan), a decrease of 46.4% year-on-year.
