TapTechNews July 11th news, the official public account of SenseTime Technology announced in the evening of today that on July 10th, SenseTime jointly with the Thai DTGO Group and its Quinnnova jointly released the Dongfeng Thai language large model (DTLM).

Dongfeng is claimed to be the world's first AI large language model that can work efficiently in three language environments: Thai, Chinese, and English. It combines SenseTime's base model and computing power advantages with DTGO's Thai language and cultural advantages to provide localized generative AI experience. It can realize natural and smooth real-time conversation, text reading comprehension and other functions.

The official said that Dongfeng comes from the Chinese classic Romance of the Three Kingdoms which is very popular in both China and Thailand, implying the cultural exchanges between the two countries since ancient times, and further carrying it forward by taking advantage of the era of generative AI.

The Dongfeng large model will initially focus on providing services to enterprise users. The official said it will help local users' businesses reduce costs and increase efficiency.

According to TapTechNews' previous report, SenseTime Technology announced on the 9th that its Sensechat mobile phone App and web version are freely open to Hong Kong users. This service has been previously launched in Chinese mainland.
