Chery and Huawei's Zhijie S7 Delivery, Features, and Future Plans

TapTechNews May 29th news, as the first sedan of Chery's cooperation with Huawei, Zhijie S7 has already started large-scale delivery last month. On the afternoon of May 25th, Zhijie Automobile held a centralized delivery ceremony in Wuhu, and Yin Tongyue, the Party secretary and chairman of Chery Group, came to the scene in person and handed the new car to the car owner with his own hands.

Zhijie S7 is jointly built by Huawei and Chery. Chery established the EH Division, and Huawei is responsible for product research and development and quality control. TapTechNews noticed that at the Huawei Hongmeng Ecosystem Spring Communication Conference on April 11th, Yin Tongyue once said that Zhijie is Chery's first priority project, and an independent brand division has been established, with dedicated manufacturing industrial parks and special resource investment guarantees. The factory can already achieve the level of one car rolling off the production line every minute. (One car per minute is about 60 cars per hour).

Zhijie S7 was launched on April 11th and a total of five models were launched, with a price range of $37,900 - $52,900. The lowest configuration version is the first to carry the HUAWEI ADS basic version of Huawei's visual intelligent driving solution, while other models are equipped with the high-level intelligent driving ability of Huawei ADS with lidar, providing a rear single-motor and front and rear dual-motor options. The maximum power of the single-motor is 215 kilowatts, and the combined power of the dual-motor is 365 kilowatts.

Chery disclosed that the car will have the world's first commercial parking valet VPD in June. During the parking process, people don't have to stay in the car all the time. Just issue an instruction through the mobile phone, and the car can park by itself and can also come to pick up at the specified location.
