Apple to Launch New Apple Watch Series 10 with Larger Display

According to TapTechNews on June 26, the Apple Watch Series 10 is expected to be launched along with the iPhone 16/Pro series in September following the regular release schedule.

This year is quite special for the Apple Watch. Previously, it was reported that Apple plans to introduce a special 10th-anniversary edition named Apple Watch X.

Before the release, the foreign media 91mobiles released the so-called original CAD renderings of Apple Watch X or Series 10. The new watch will be equipped with a larger 2-inch display.

From the leaked CAD renderings, it can be seen that the Apple Watch Series 10 is expected to be equipped with the largest display ever in the history of the Apple Watch. The previous generation of the Apple Watch Ultra has a 1.93-inch display and the Apple Watch Series 9 has a 1.7-inch display.

The overall dimension of the alleged watch is about 46x39.7x11.6 millimeters, which is slightly smaller than the Apple Watch Ultra and larger than the Watch Series 9. TapTechNews noticed that the renderings adopt the same design as the previous generation, including the positions of the digital crown, square display, and side buttons.

Reports also mentioned that there are rumors that the Apple Watch Series 10 or X will adopt a redesigned strap connection method, which may be a magnetic strap connection system. But from the latest renderings, Apple has not implemented this design, and the report believes this is to make way for a thinner design.

The Apple Watch X or Apple Watch Series 10 may come in two sizes: 45 millimeters and 49 millimeters, meaning the original 41-millimeter small-sized watch is abandoned. The Apple Watch X is also expected to be equipped with the long-rumored blood pressure monitor.
