Faceting Intelligence and HUAWEI Cloud form cooperation at HDC2024

On June 24, TapTechNews reported that Faceting Intelligence and HUAWEI Cloud reached a formal cooperation at HUAWEI Developer Conference 2024 (HDC2024) on June 22.

In HUAWEI Cloud's promotion of the large model end-cloud collaborative solution, Faceting Intelligence is the first end-side large model partner. The two sides will jointly promote the research and development and deployment of the large model end-cloud collaborative solution to further reduce the cost of using the large model and improve the response speed; place the large model in 'the place closest to the users', and further expand the application value of the large model in various scenarios and different fields.

The core R & D team of Faceting originated from Tsinghua Natural Language Processing Laboratory. Previously, their open-source model 'Little Cannon' MiniCPM-Llama3-V2.5 was copied by the open-source model Llama3-V of the AI research team of Stanford University.

According to the previous report of TapTechNews, Faceting Intelligence announced the completion of a new round of hundreds of millions of yuan in financing in April, led by Chunhua Venture Capital and HUAWEI Hubble, and followed by Beijing Artificial Intelligence Industry Investment Fund, etc. This is the first time that HUAWEI Hubble has invested in a domestic AI large model company.
