The first offline model is the second-generation AION V, and more new models will be introduced for production. This factory can produce 200,000 new energy vehicles annually, and there is reserved space for subsequent production capacity improvement, which will help build a super-large automotive production base in the central region.

According to the introduction, this factory is the first dark factory in Hunan Province. It adopts the full-process AI + simulation modeling technology, which can shorten the commissioning cycle by 25% and save 30% of the process area. The full-link intelligent logistics can increase the proportion of precise distribution by 40%, and shorten the delivery cycle by 25%.

This factory is claimed to be the new energy factory with the fastest single-line beat in the world, with the robot with the largest power battery handling capacity in the world, and the maximum grasping load can reach 1.2 tons. In addition, this factory realizes the world's first vertical wall photovoltaic, and the photovoltaic power generation accounts for more than 50% of the factory's electricity consumption, also claiming to be the highest in the world.

According to TapTechNews' previous report, GAC Aion's global sales in July was 35,238 vehicles. In contrast, GAC Aion's sales in July last year was 45,025 vehicles, and the year-on-year decrease this month is 21.7%; the global sales in June this year was 35,027 vehicles, basically the same as this month.
