China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology Allocates 100 Million Internet of Vehicles Numbers

TapTechNews June 3rd news, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced at the end of May that it plans to allocate 100 million 11-digit public mobile communication network numbers exclusively for the Internet of Vehicles business, which is equivalent to the cell phone card of a car.

The Internet of Vehicles number can not only be used for listening to music, navigation like a cell phone card, but also for the sensor data transmission of the Internet of Vehicles and connecting with other cars.

The Internet of Vehicles number has not been officially released yet. The appearance is shown in the following figure (two), and it looks similar to the size of an ordinary Nano-SIM cell phone card, and may even be a little smaller.

The Internet of Vehicles card will be pre-installed directly in the car when buying the car, and it requires real-name registration. This card does not require a separate package to handle, but whether it is a lifetime free flow or not depends on the policy of different brand auto companies.
