Ming-Chi Kuo estimates that the shipment of Apple VisionPro headsets this year is 400,000-450,000 units. In contrast, the global TV market volume is 200 million units, and the shipment of high-end TVs with a price of more than 3,000 US dollars is between 3-5 million units.
Although the content supported by the Apple VisionPro headset is relatively limited, it must also consider the core fans, heavy users and early adopters in Apple's huge user base (a total of 2.2 billion active devices), which should be beneficial to the shipment volume.
Therefore, if VisionPro is a good replacement for high-end TV products, at least the shipment volume this year should easily exceed 1 million units, but this is not the case.
