Jiyue PPA Intelligent Driving Reaches 100% National Highway and Elevated Highway Coverage

TapTechNews June 5th news, Jiyue PPA intelligent driving officially announced that it has 100% coverage of national expressway and elevated highway sections, reaching the stage goal half a year in advance.

According to the introduction, Jiyue PPA intelligent driving has newly covered 124 cities in an all-round way, including 100 cities' expressway sections and 24 cities' elevated highway sections. The available mileage of PPA intelligent driving has now covered nearly 500,000 kilometers (about 310,686 miles).

The newly opened range of this PPA expressway and elevated highway includes intelligent driving services in areas such as Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Qinghai, and the three northeastern provinces. Up to now, the cumulative driving mileage of Jiyue PPA intelligent driving has exceeded 3.4 million kilometers (about 2.112667 million miles).

In addition to covering national expressways and elevated highways, Jiyue PPA intelligent driving also supports the use on urban roads. In the V1.5.0 version of Jiyue 01 car, the urban PPA intelligent driving newly covers 100 cities, cumulatively covering complex urban roads in 105 cities across the country, and newly adding Shenzhen's new district, Bao'an District.

TapTechNews previously reported that at the ApolloDay 2024 event last month, Baidu Apollo released the world's first large model ApolloADFM (AutonomousDrivingFoundationModel) that supports L4-level autonomous driving.

All Jiyue models are mass-produced and debuted with the pure-vision urban pilot-assisted driving ASD (ApolloSelf-Driving) enhanced by this model, claiming to achieve the effect of intelligent driving can be done all over the country and wherever there is Baidu Map.
