Microsoft Windows 11 Update New Features in Sharing Menu and More

According to TapTechNews on May 28, the source @PhantomOfEarth tweeted today that in the preview version update of Microsoft Windows 11 Beta Build 22635.3646, the sharing menu hides a new feature and is disabled by default. After enabling it, you can see the 'My Phone' button in NearbyShare to facilitate faster sharing of content.

This feature seems like a negligible change, but it indicates that Microsoft is further simplifying the transfer experience between mobile phones and computers. And after existing users click the 'Share using' option, they need to click the PhoneLink (mobile phone connection) button to operate.

TapTechNews reported yesterday that Microsoft launched the OCR function for the preview version of the 'PhoneLink (mobile phone connection)' application on the Windows platform. Users can open the 'Photos' sub-menu in the application and then select the text in the photo for copying.

In addition, Microsoft updated 'Connect to Windows' to version 1.24032.518.0 on May 26. After this update, it newly supports mobile phones uploading files to the computer through the system's'sharing' function.
