BYD Showcases Innovative Electric Commercial Vehicles at International Mobility Exhibition Hanover

TapTechNews note: The biennial International Mobility, Transport and Logistics Exhibition Hanover started in 1897 and has been successfully held for 68 sessions so far, and it is the world's largest and most influential commercial vehicle exhibition.
At the meeting, while BYD displayed its pure electric truck family, it also publicly debuted its pure electric light commercial vehicle E-VALI and pure electric yard tractor EYT2.0 for the first time.
BYD said that the E-VALI, which is globally premiered this time, is a 3.5-ton/4.25-ton pure electric light commercial vehicle, specially designed for the European market to meet the last-mile end delivery demand.
BYD introduced that E-VALI is equipped with BYD Blade Battery and high-spec intelligent driving assistance functions, and has strong cargo carrying capacity, providing a more practical and lower maintenance cost product choice for local environmentally friendly commercial vehicle fleets.
In addition to E-VALI, BYD also launched pure electric yard tractor EYT2.0 for the first time for the European market, which is specially created for ports, docks and other logistics and transportation scenarios.
According to the introduction, EYT2.0 retains the offset cab, which is sturdy and durable, flexible and maneuverable, with a total weight of up to 75 tons, easily handling large containers and trailers. This vehicle is also equipped with BYD Blade Battery, and the working time can be up to 16 hours, greatly improving the transportation efficiency.
BYD truck family's star models ETM6 and ETH8 were also displayed at this exhibition. Among them, the 7.5-ton medium truck ETM6 is dedicated to the urban logistics field, and the 19-ton heavy truck ETH8 is used in fields such as urban cleaning and urban logistics. BYD said that both models are equipped with the platform specially developed by BYD for pure electric trucks, and the full-load cruising range is 200 and 250 kilometers respectively.
