Apple Introduces New CleanUpAI Tool in iOS 18 Photos App

TapTechNews June 13th, Apple has introduced a brand-new CleanUpAI cleaning tool in the iOS 18 Photos app, similar to the MagicEraser function in Google's Android system and Adobe's GenerativeFill function, which can circle and 'erase' elements in the background.

The CleanUp function is powered by Apple's AppleIntelligenceAI and can delete unwanted content in photos, such as people in the background or objects in the foreground.

In addition to being available on iOS 18, the CleanUp function also supports iPadOS 18 and macOS Sequoia, and will replace the 'Retouch' tool in macOS Sonoma on the macOS system.
