Dongfeng Yipai eπ008 Five-Seat SUV to Be Launched in October

The new car will cancel the third-row seat and provide a 15.6-inch rear cabin entertainment screen, widened central armrest, etc.

As a reference, the current Dongfeng Yipai eπ008 was launched on June 14 this year, providing both extended-range and pure electric dual-power versions, and the starting price is 216,600 yuan ($31,000).

The car is positioned as a mid-to-large-sized SUV. The appearance adopts the latest design language of the Dongfeng Yipai family, with the world's first hidden intelligent starlight grille, which supports multiple light languages such as welcoming, charging, and yielding to pedestrians.

In the cockpit, the front row of the car is equipped with a 15.6-inch high-definition central control screen and a 9.2-inch high-definition streaming media rearview mirror, and the rear row is equipped with a 15.6-inch ecological large screen, providing zero-gravity seats, and the whole vehicle is standard with 20 speakers.

In terms of specifications, TapTechNews learned that the length, width and height of the series models are 5002mm x 1972mm x 1732mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 3025mm. Among them, the maximum power of the motor of the pure electric version model is 200 kilowatts, and the CLTC pure electric cruising range is 636 kilometers; the maximum power of the 1.5T extender of the extended-range version model is 108 kilowatts, and the CLTC pure electric cruising range is 210 kilometers.
