TapTechNews note: 'VideoBoost' is a function first launched by Google in the Pixel 8 Pro phone last year. The official said that especially in low-light environments, it can allow users to create videos with higher picture quality, better light effects, colors, and details.

However, there is one limiting condition for users to record 8K videos. Before users use the 'VideoBoost' function, they need to back up the video to the Google Photos app.

After the video backup is successful, it can be converted to 8K video, which means that the relevant operations are completely done in the cloud. During the shooting process, users will not see the 8K 30FPS resolution shooting option.
