JD.com will carry out automation upgrade and transformation for dozens of warehouses of the Saudi Electricity Company (the largest power producer, transmitter and distributor in the Middle East and North Africa region), helping the Saudi Electricity Company achieve cost reduction and efficiency increase in all links of the logistics supply chain in the Middle East, North Africa and other regions.

JD.com will provide the Saudi Electricity Company with intelligent warehouse software and hardware integrated construction and intelligent logistics park solution, and will provide storage and delivery services for raw materials, semi-finished products, finished products, documents, daily necessities and other items for the Saudi Electricity Company and its affiliated companies.

According to JD.com, in 2020, JD Logistics landed the first self-operated warehouse in the largest free zone in the Middle East, the Jebel Ali Port in Dubai, and then JD Logistics' second warehouse in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, was also put into use. At present, JD Logistics has operated nearly 90 overseas warehouses, bonded warehouses and direct mail warehouses around the world, and has more than a thousand international transportation routes.
