Brand-new Star Wars Spin-off 'The Skeleton Crew' Officially Announced at Disney D23 Expo

TapTechNews August 10th news, at the Disney D23 Expo, the brand-new Star Wars spin-off series The Skeleton Crew was officially announced and the first trailer was released.

This series, which was originally scheduled to be released in 2023, will premiere on Disney+ in the form of two consecutive episodes on December 3, 2024, and the first season includes 8 episodes.

The core of The Skeleton Crew unfolds around four young people. After accidentally unearthing a mysterious discovery on their home planet, a series of adventures across the magnificent universe unfolds as they search for their way home.

This series is set in the New Republic era, shortly after Return of the Jedi, specifically tailored for a new generation of audiences, providing a more relaxed and accessible perspective.
