Microsoft Adds Windows 11's Annoying Feature to Windows 10

TapTechNews August 25th news, although Windows 10 is about to come to an end in October 2025, Microsoft still decides to continue adding 'new features' to it. Recently, Microsoft has introduced one of the most annoying changes in the Windows 11 start menu into Windows 10.

Microsoft Adds Windows 11's Annoying Feature to Windows 10_0

Earlier this year, Microsoft introduced the so-called 'Account Manager' for Windows 11, which will appear on the screen when users click on the personal profile picture in the start menu. In addition to showing buttons for logout, locking the device or switching profiles, it will also show Microsoft 365 advertisements, and all the really useful buttons are now hidden behind a three-dot menu. Now, the 'Account Manager' has also been added to Windows 10.

TapTechNews noted that this change was discovered in the latest Windows 10 preview version (Beta/RP build 19045.4842), and its working mode is the same as that of Windows 11. Currently, it is disabled by default because the sub-menu with logout and lock buttons does not work, and the functions 47988717, 48433719 and 49453572 need to be enabled using the ViVeTool application.

Microsoft has not yet announced the launch of the Account Manager for Windows 10, but considering that it has already appeared in the stable version of Windows 11, the possibility of finally being added to Windows 10 is very high.
