TapTechNews June 8th news, the marketing director of realme brand, Francis Wong, revealed yesterday when accepting an interview with YouTube channel TheTechChap that Realme is testing 300W charging technology.
Francis Wong disclosed that looking forward to the next few years, realme has been developing the next generation of artificial intelligence 2.0. In addition, he also confirmed that they are testing 300W fast charging.
TapTechNews reported in February 2023 that Redmi, a sub-brand of Xiaomi, has demonstrated 300W charging technology, and the phone can be fully charged in just 5 minutes, but it has not been commercially available yet.
Realme mobile phone brand currently supports 240W fast charging. The Realme GTNeo5 phone supports 240W charging and can be fully charged within 10 minutes.
Francis Wong did not disclose more details in the interview. It is not clear how realme effectively dissipates heat to prevent the charger and the phone from overheating at 300W power, and formulate relevant measures to ensure the battery life.
