DJI and Amflow Launch Bicycles with DJI Avinox E-bike Assist System in China

TapTechNews September 17th news, DJI in collaboration with the bicycle brand Amflow has launched in the Chinese mainland the first two bicycles, Amflow PL Carbon and Amflow PL Carbon Pro, that are equipped with DJI DJI Avinox e-bike assist system. The price information of the IT bracket is as follows:

Amflow PL Carbon: 36,888 Yuan ($5,242.54)

Amflow PL Carbon Pro (600Wh): 65,588 Yuan ($9,287.72)

Amflow PL Carbon Pro (800Wh): 66,888 Yuan ($9,471.08)

According to the introduction, both models adopt carbon fiber frames with a rear travel of 150mm and are compatible with 27.5 and 29-inch rear wheels. The standard model weighs 21.4 kilograms, and the Pro model weighs 19.2 kilograms. The specific specifications are as follows:

The bike is equipped with DJI Avinox e-bike assist system, and the weight of the battery in the assist system is 2.87 pounds. It is claimed that after 500 charge and discharge cycles, it can still retain 80% of the initial capacity. It is standard with a 12-amp 508-watt gallium nitride fast charger. It takes 1.5 hours for the 800-watt battery to charge from 0% to 75%, and the 600Wh and 800Wh two battery versions have a nominal range of up to 117 kilometers and 157 kilometers, respectively.

Referring to the TapTechNews report in July this year, DJI Avinox e-bike assist system has four assist modes: Auto, Eco, Trail, and Turbo. In challenging road conditions, the Boost mode can also be quickly activated to obtain a 120-newton-meter assist torque and an instantaneous maximum output power of 1000W for up to 30 seconds.

In addition, users can complete data recording using the Avinox e-bike assist system integrated in the whole vehicle without purchasing additional accessories. The e-bike assist system has built-in nearly 50 data records of a series of sensors, and users can customize the display content of the central control screen through the Avinox App, including exercise time, riding mileage, average speed, and real-time power of the human-machine.
