Sony to Participate in Biggest Tokyo Game Show in 2024

TapTechNews July 4th news, Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that it will participate in the biggest in history Tokyo Game Show.

The 2024 Tokyo Game Show (TGS2024) will be held from September 26th to September 29th at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, and there will be 731 exhibitors and 3190 booths.

Sony has not fully participated in this show since 2019 and only returned in 2023 to showcase some indie games. This year is Sony's full return.

In addition, Capcom, Konami and many other large Japanese game publishers will also participate in the 2024 Tokyo Game Show.

The theme of the 2024 Tokyo Game Show is Leading the World with Games, claiming to have a larger scale of participation than last year, becoming the largest Tokyo Game Show in history. Tickets for general visitors from outside Japan will go on sale on July 25 (Thursday), starting from 3000 yen (TapTechNews note: currently about $20).
