Microsoft's New Patent Seamless Switch from Email to Chat

TapTechNews May 30th news, on May 21st, the US Trademark and Patent Office publicly authorized a Microsoft patent. The described new system allows users to seamlessly switch from email to chat tools.

This patent was submitted in 2020, and Microsoft's design goal is to allow users to easily switch between email and chat services.

After a user opens an email, whether it's an invoice email or a work-related email, the system will extract context data from the email, start a chat session, and achieve uninterrupted communication. Users can also click the Chat button from the email list in the selected folder. After selection, the chat window will appear, and the user does not need to manually enter, and the system will automatically extract all the information from the mail.
