IM Motors and NIO Energy Reach Charging Network Cooperation

TapTechNews May 30th news, IM Motors Technology Co., Ltd. (IM Motors) and Wuhan NIO Energy Co., Ltd. (NIO Energy) have officially reached a charging network interconnection and interoperability cooperation today.

According to the cooperation agreement, starting from May 30th, IM Motors users can view the location, price, status, usage and other information of NIO charging piles in real time across the country through the App and the in-vehicle charging map, and can quickly complete operations such as scanning the code for charging and order payment, and can directly deduct the electricity rights and interests of IM Motors users.

By the end of May, IM Motors' interconnection and interoperability has accessed more than 800,000 charging guns, covering more than 360 cities across the country; by mid-June, it will exceed 920,000 charging guns; by the end of the year, it is expected to break through one million charging guns for the interconnection and interoperability resources.

TapTechNews noted that NIO has successively reached charging network interconnection and interoperability cooperation with brands such as Geely Automobile Group, Jiyue, SAIC General Motors, Deep Blue, and IM Motors. In addition, NIO has reached battery swap cooperation agreements with FAW Group, GAC Group, Changan Automobile, Geely Holding, Chery Automobile, Jianghuai Automobile Group, and Lotus.
