As early as the end of April, there were rumors that Tesla had obtained the preliminary approval of the FSD system from the relevant Chinese authorities. Recently, a Tesla China employee confirmed that after the software update of his vehicle, the words Employee FSDBeta Program: Registered appeared on the screen, and the employee shared this information with Tesla fan ChrisZheng through a screenshot. It should be noted that although it shows registered, the employee's vehicle is currently unable to enable any FSD functions.

TapTechNews noticed that in addition to the Employee FSDBeta Program, the screenshot also indicates that this car is participating in several internal test plans. For example, the screenshot also shows the words Employee Wave1 Program: Registered.

In recent years, reports about Tesla's plan to establish a data processing center in China to train its FSD system have frequently emerged. With the gradual removal of regulatory obstacles at the Chinese government level, the date of the listing of Tesla's FSD system in China seems to be approaching.

Although Tesla's FSD has not been pushed in the Chinese market yet, this kit has been sold with the car when the Model 3 was launched in China, with a price of $9,900 (64,000 Chinese yuan). Previously, the description on its purchase page has been changed from to be launched later to coming soon.
