Microsoft Releases Windows 11 Update KB5039314 for Windows Insider in Dev Channel

TapTechNews on June 8th, Microsoft released a press release today and made available the KB5039314 update for Windows 11 to members of the Windows Insider program in the Dev channel. After users install it, the version number rises to Build 26120.770.

This update only includes some routine improvements and fixes, mainly to improve the overall experience of Windows Insider running the latest preview version.

TapTechNews citing the content of the update log, Microsoft is currently pushing the new SnippingTool to Windows 11 Canary and Dev channel users. Version 11.2405.24.0 and subsequent versions introduce an auto-saving function for screen recordings. This function is the same as the auto-saving function for screenshots.

The recorded content will be automatically saved to the Screen Recording folder (located inside the Videos folder), and users can choose to turn off this function in the Snipping Tool settings.
