Custom Button Layout

TapTechNews reported on Jun 6 that Apple is testing a redesigned version of the Control Center in iOS 18, which can be customized by the user.

The user can re-arrange or remove the button layout in the Control Center through the Settings application. Only the current tested version is limited to the lower half, and the user can adjust things like the flashlight and low power mode, etc.

Support for Multiple Pages

Gurman acknowledged this improvement in the latest revelations and also disclosed new details. The Control Center supports multiple-page display for the first time, allowing users to adjust the control options more flexibly.

New Music Controls

Gurman also reiterated that the revamped Control Center will include a new music widget, which may span the entire width of the Control Center and include more visual elements such as album covers in the default view.
