According to Pear Video reports, in response to the camera issue, the RoboRun customer service replied that in order to meet the test supervision and safety issues during the test, currently there are cameras installed on the vehicle, and unless customers have a request to view the monitoring video, otherwise data collection, storage and use will not be carried out.

Since its launch in 2021, RoboRun has opened manned tests in 11 cities across the country including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Chongqing, Wuhan, Chengdu, Changsha, Hefei, Yangquan, and Wuzhen, and has carried out fully autonomous driving travel services in 5 cities including Beijing, Wuhan, Chongqing, Shenzhen, and Shanghai.

Baidu's financial report shows that as of January 2nd, 2024, the number of driverless travel service orders provided by RoboRun to the public has exceeded 5 million. Baidu claims that based on the number of orders completed by RoboRun, the company is the leader in the Chinese autonomous driving market.
